Conor McGregor Ties the Knot with Longtime Partner Dee Devlin in Intimate Vatican Ceremony
Conor McGregor has married longtime partner Dee Devlin in a private ceremony at Vatican City, marking a rare and intimate moment in the UFC star’s headline-making life.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor and longtime partner Dee Devlin, now officially married.
UFC superstar Conor McGregor has officially married his longtime partner, Dee Devlin, in a private and historic ceremony at the Church of Santo Stefano degli Abissini in Vatican City on December 12, 2025.
The former two-division UFC champion, known as "The Notorious," and Devlin, his steadfast supporter since 2008, exchanged vows in one of the oldest churches in the Vatican on Friday. The ceremony was described as small and intimate, with the couple's four children Conor Jr., Croía, Rían, and Mack reportedly playing a central role.
Photos and videos obtained by media outlets show McGregor, 37, in a sharp black tuxedo, beaming alongside Devlin, 38, who wore an elegant high-necked wedding gown with a long veil. The venue, overlooking St. Peter's Basilica, was adorned with thousands of white roses, and the event featured a string quartet, a choir, and later celebrations including dancing and fireworks.
The couple, both devout Catholics, had long dreamed of a Vatican wedding. Earlier reports suggested they initially hoped for the Sistine Chapel but settled on this historic site due to Vatican restrictions on ceremonies. The date aligns with rumors circulating in November that the nuptials would occur before Christmas.
McGregor and Devlin's love story began in a Dublin nightclub when he was an up-and-coming fighter. She has been by his side through his meteoric rise to global fame, multiple UFC titles, blockbuster fights, and personal challenges. They got engaged in August 2020 on Devlin's birthday, with McGregor captioning a photo: "What a birthday, my future wife!"
The wedding comes amid McGregor's ongoing plans for a UFC return in 2026, following years of inactivity due to injury and other commitments. Neither McGregor nor Devlin has publicly commented on the nuptials yet, keeping the focus on their private celebration.
Congratulations poured in from fans and the MMA community, marking the end of a 17-year journey for one of combat sports' most enduring couples.
