U.S. retailers are currently bleeding over $850 billion annually due to merchandise returns, a figure that has spiraled out of control as e-commerce dominates. For fast-fashion titans like Inditex (Zara’s parent company), the equation is brutal: selling clothes is easy, but keeping them sold is the real war. In a bold move to defend its margins, Inditex has deployed a dual-pronged AI offensive: Generative Video for you, and "Silent Swaps" for their models.


The Front-End: The "Digital Twin" Video Feature


While competitors rely on static AR overlays, Zara has rolled out a consumer-facing Generative AI "Clothing" Feature (currently live in select markets like Spain, the UK, and pilot regions).
